bostonnova is dedicated to whatever musings and raves its writers have about great and terrible art from the past and present, across mediums and boundaries. Founded by Jonathan Donaldson in 2013, it is based in Boston.
Jonathan Donaldson has written for just about every publication in Boston, including the Metro, Boston Herald, Boston.com (Inbound Sounds), the Boston Phoenix, Time Out Boston, the Weekly Dig, and the Athol Imperial Sun. His editors usually find him congenial if not a little un-grounded.
He has also written for Dagger, Scram, Pop Culture Press, Junkmedia, Opuszine, InMusicWeTrust, Earlash, the Smile Shop, and other various publications no longer findable via “the Way Back Machine.”
